People choose a personalized set when an ordinary gift feels too plain. You want a piece that says: this was made just for you. On porcelain you can add initials, a monogram, a full name, the date of an important event or a family crest.
The easiest way is to start from the occasion. A wedding, an anniversary, a child's birth, a company milestone, each event has its own format. For a couple a two-letter monogram fits, for a family, a crest or a family cipher, for an anniversary, a name and a memorable date.
Then we choose the piece itself. It can be a tea pair, a dessert plate, a full set for six or twelve. We'll suggest what looks best with the chosen inscription and show you a sketch before we start painting.
A tip from practice: allow time. Handwork doesn't tolerate a rush, and a good personalized set is several weeks from sketch to packaging. If the event is close, write in advance and we'll pick an option to fit the deadline.
